16 TEAMS WERE ON THE ROAD COMPETING OVER THE JAN 28-29 WEEKEND

Club Unite logged in 85 matches over the weekend with teams competing in Emerson, Ga- Hendersonville, NC-Spartanburg, SC-Greenville, SC and Franklin, TN

"Most of our teams were competing for the first time." says Coach Shannon Mincey, "Much excitement and anticipation was being worked out as players executed the systems they have been learning. It is nice to get this under our belt so our coaches and staff can build from our experience." 

Unites 14's, 13,s and 12 and under's teams combined a 27-16 weekend record and brought home several divisional titles:

12 Heather/Tony 1st Place Silver (4-1 record)
13 Bailey/Kaylee 1st Place Silver (3-2 record)
13 Marty 2nd Place Gold (6-1 record)
14 Stacie 2nd Place Gold (5-2 record)

Unites three 15s teams (Lauren, Linda, Molly, Reagan) combined a strong winning percentage of with an overall 16-6 weekend record tabbing several divisional titles:

15 Linda 1st Place Gold (4-1 record)
15 Moly 1st Place Gold (6-0 record)

Club Unites 16s and Up saw 1 Divisional Winner:

17 Igor 1st Place Silver (4-2 record)

Club Unite met back together Monday following the tournament and ran through a fundamental ball control session assuring players stayed on their feet after the long weekend rather than jumping in practice. "Injury prevention is important to me. " says Coach Mincey "I do not think teams should take off after a long run of play but I do think we need to be smart about what we are doing in the gym with them after a long tournament." 

Club Unite will return to action this weekend with 2 teams competing on the road.
